Kodak Black Says He’s ‘Sad’ and ‘Depressed’ in Prison

Kodak Black

Kodak Black is feeling down and out.

While he serves prison time on federal weapons charges, the Florida rapper is battling his demons. Taking to Twitter over the weekend, Kodak shared some of those dark thoughts with his followers.

“Lonely. Sad. Depressed. Pray For Sanity,” he tweeted on Sunday (Jan. 10).

He also asked for some salvation. “Lord Restore My Heart. Take What’s Broken And Make Whole Again,” Kodak pleaded.

Despite his bleak situation, there may be some light at the end of the tunnel. The “Tunnel Vision” rapper is reportedly on Donald Trump’s list of potential pardons along with Lil Wayne. His friends including Lil Yachty, Lil Pump, and Yo Gotti have lobbied the president to pardon Kodak, who promised to donate $1 million to charity if he is released.

The 23-year-old rapper, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, is currently serving a 46-month sentence at a Kentucky federal prison for falsifying paperwork to obtain a firearm. He is set to be released in August 2022. In November, he publicly pleaded with the president to free him.

In his series of tweets, Kodak also addressed Kanye West and prayed for Dr. Dre, who recently suffered a brain aneurysm.
