Anderson .Paak Warns About Posthumous Music Release with New Tattoo

Anderson .Paak is making a statement with his latest tattoo.
The Silk Sonic crooner revealed a new tat on his right forearm that contains a strong warning about what he wants to happen to his music after he dies.
“When I’m gone please don’t release any posthumous albums or songs with my name attached,” reads the tat, which sits below his tattoo of Animal from “The Muppet Show.” “Those were just demos and never intended to be heard by the public.”
His new ink is a commentary on posthumous music. Following the deaths of many artists, their estates have gone on to capitalize off their names by releasing music despite the fact that many of the songs were unfinished when the artists were alive.
Pop Smoke’s close friend recently criticized his team following the release of the late rapper’s second posthumous album Faith. “I’m upset my damn self at it cuss I know he wouldn’t even want this like this,” wrote Mike Dee.
Anderson has new music on the way. He and Bruno Mars are gearing up to release Silk Sonic’s debut album An Evening with Silk Sonic later this year. Last month, they dropped their second single “Skate.”
