Wiz Khalifa and Logic Announce Co-Headlining Tour

Wiz Khalifa and Logic are joining forces for a co-headlining tour starting this summer.
The tour, dubbed Vinyl Verse Tour 2022, was announced on Monday (April 18). The cross-country jaunt will also feature special guests DJ Drama, former XXL Freshman 24KGoldn, Fedd The God and C Dot Castro. The tour kicks off on July 27 at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, Calif. and will make 28 stops in total including shows in Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, New York, Charlotte, N.C.; Virginia Beach, Va.; Cincinnati, Ohio; and more, before closing out at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, Mo. on Sept. 2. Tickets go on sale on April 22.
The announcement of the tour comes on the heels of Wiz Khalifa releasing the joint project Full Court Press with Big K.R.I.T., Smoke DZA and Girl Talk earlier this month. The project was his second release of 2022, following the Stoner’s Night joint album with Juicy J, which came out in February. Wiz’s name was recently in the hip-hop headlines after rapper-turned-podcaster Gillie Da Kid claimed Wiz got Gillie’s Instagram page removed after Gillie joked about what Wiz was wearing on IG. Gillie didn’t like Wiz posting videos doing workouts in his underwear.
Logic, on the other hand, has been quiet for the most part since he announced his retirement and final album in July of 2020, and later gave a heartfelt goodbye to hip-hop. The rap bug still seems to have a hold on Logic, who has since released the mixtapes Planetory Destruction and Bobby Tarantino III.
