Rev. Jesse Jackson and his wife have both been hospitalized after testing positive for Covid-19. According to the Rainbow Push Coalition, doctors are currently monitoring the condition of both of them. Rev. Jackson, and his wife, Jacqueline Jackson, are currently at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, the statement said.

“Anyone who has been around either of them for the last five or six days should follow the CDC guidelines.” the Chicago-based international human and civil rights organization founded by Jackson said in a statement Saturday.

Rev. Jackson received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine back in January at an event to promote African American confidence in vaccinations.

Updates will be provided when they become available, according to RPC.
