Summer Walker Says She Hates Her Job

Summer Walker is over it.

Just days after giving birth to her daughter, the singer is expressing her frustration over her occupation. In an Instagram post on her “galactawhore” account, a disgruntled Summer complained about “stalkers” in her personal life that make it hard for her to do her job.

“I legit hate this job, lol,” wrote Summer. “Why can’t I just put out music w out stalkers being obsessed with my private life.”

It’s become so bad that she is even considering new employment. However, it’s unclear if she is serious. “I need to start figuring out my next job,” she added.

Just days earlier, Walker became a mom when she and producer London On Da Track welcomed their first child, a baby girl.

This is not the first time Summer has shared her struggles in the music industry. In 2019, she canceled her tour due to extreme social anxiety and was criticized for not hugging fans during her meet and greets. “I’m an empath, and that transference of energy from that many people each day would literally KILL me,” she explained. “So I ask you please respect my space in those moments.”

In December, she teased a new album, a potential follow-up to her chart-topping 2019 debut Over It.
