Saweetie & Doja Cat pushed through with an early bet for anthem of the year with their “Best Friend” collaboration. Now, the cut gets a welcome update from Jamaican-British star Stefflon Don as the emcee offers up a lengthy verse to add. It marks a solid look for Stefflon as she continues to amass a crossover fan base, capitalizing on her success overseas.

“Best Friend” serves as a teaser,3 leading into Saweetie’s anticipated Pretty B*tch Music album. Among those set to be featured, listeners can look out for production from Murda Beatz, Lil Jon and Timabaland among others with Doja Cat, Stefflon Don, and Jhene Aiko slated to make appearances for their features on Best Friend and “Back To The Streets,” respectively.

“I co-produced a lot of the beats which is helping me develop a sound when I’m creating with these beat makers. It helps me when I’m part of the creative process because I get inspired,” she recently said of the process behind the new effort. “I feel like this body of work is so well rounded. There are records where I’m singing on the chorus and it sounds like a different person.
