Could Andre Drummond Be Heading To The Knicks

Andre Drummond is on the market and one team in the big apple could be his next destination.

Marc Berman of the New York Post reported on Monday that the Cleveland Cavaliers center would consider the New York Knicks to be a good landing spot. Drummond’s departure from Cleveland is looming with the Cavs now holding him out of the lineup until they can trade him.

 Drummond is averaging 17.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game on the year. Apart from being a New York native, Drummond can fit right in with the Knicks as they are currently dealing with the absence of starting center Mitchell Robinson due to a fractured right hand.

While Julius Randle is having his best NBA season ever, adding another big like Drummond would help the Knicks on the boards and on the front lines.

The Knicks are one of the biggest surprises of this young NBA season. Add Drummond to the lineup would only help the team looking to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2013.
