Justice League’s Snyder Cut Release Date On HBO Max Revealed

HBO Max has now confirmed that Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be released as a “full-length Max Original feature film” when it premieres on the streaming platform on March 18th.
Snyder took to Twitter on Friday to share three new posters for his version of Justice League, captioned “fallen,” “risen,” and “reborn.” The first poster features a shattered Justice League symbol whilst the second image draws inspiration from 1992’s The Death of Superman cover. The final poster shows a film canister with Snyder’s name emblazoned on the front, highlighted in red.
Snyder was given $70 million from Warner Bros to remake parts of the years-ago release and re-edit it into what the director says was his original vision for the film. Snyder left during post-production and reshoots following the death of his daughter. Joss Whedon came on board to finish the film and the final product was met with mixed reviews.
Following fan’s demand for Snyder to release his uncut version of the film, Warner Bros signed off last summer and the hype train started. Snyder’s version of Justice League will be a 4-hour film instead of a mini-series.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League isn’t the only new film arriving on HBO Max this year. In December, Warner Bros. announced that every single one of its films in 2021 would release simultaneously on HBO Max the same day they premiered in movie theaters.
