Kodak Black is out of jail and has released a new track discussing the pardon of his prison sentence by Donald Trump.
“Last Day In” addresses the commutation of his sentence. “Trump just freed me, but my favorite president is on the money,” he raps. “All they hate and prejudice has become evident to me.”
The song was produced by LenoxBeatmaker, Luca Vialli, and Dyryk and was released on Kodak’s label Atlantic Records.
Kodak was released on Jan 20th, and instantly took to Twitter, thanking Trump “for his commitment to justice reform and shortening my sentence.” However, he is still facing an outstanding first-degree criminal sexual misconduct charge in South Carolina, which stems from a 2016 incident.
Kodak confirmed he was a supporter of Trump, even before his sentence was commuted. He shared a photo of a gold bar embossed with Trump’s name, as well as a picture of the ex-President with locs photoshopped on his head.
Check out the song and let us know what you think. Will Kodak get back to where he was before being incarcerated?
