Lil Durk

Lil Durk keeps King Von’s memory alive in the video for his new single “Backdoor.”

The Chicago MC celebrates his wins and losses while paying tribute to fallen friends. Durk, who signed Von to his label OTF, rocks Von’s signature O Block chain in remembrance of the late Chicago rapper, while also honoring his late cousin OTF Nunu aka Nuski.

After deactivating his Instagram six weeks ago in the wake of Von’s death, Durk returned to release “Backdoor” and announced his mission to do “#DoIt4Von.” Following Von’s tragic death last month, Durk paid tribute to him on social media.

“MY TWIN GONE,” he wrote. “I LOVE YOU BABY BRO – D ROY !!!!!”

Durk is capping off a prolific year, including a string of guests spots on Meek Mill’s “Pain Away,” Megan Thee Stallion’s “Movie,” and Drake’s top 10 hit “Laugh Now Cry Later.” In October, he dropped “Stay Down” featuring Young Thug and 6LACK, the first single off his long-awaited album, The Voice.

Watch Durk’s special tribute below.
