Real Shit

Juice WRLD would have been 22 today.

In honor of his birthday, super-producer Benny Blanco has debuted an unreleased collaboration with the late Chicago rapper. On “Real Sh*t,” a carefree Juice reflects on happier days.

“Life’s good so I’m living great / I hit up my lady / We should take a vacay,” he raps. “I’m eating too damn good / Goddamn, tryna gain weight / Working out my demons / They in better shape.”

Blanco, who previously collaborated with Juice WRLD on “Roses” and “Graduation,” reflected on making music with Juice before he was signed to a label and knowing he was going to “change music forever.” “He was an absolute genius to say the least but above all he was one of the kindest and most considerate people i have ever met,” wrote Blanco. “He was my friend… happy birthday juice… we miss u…”

In July, Juice WRLD’s estate released his first posthumous album Legends Never Die, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, followed by “Smile,” his hit collaboration with The Weeknd.
