According to a report from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, all 10 people who lost their lives during Travis Scott’s festival died from “compression asphyxia.” Of those who suffocated to death in the crowd surge, one had a “contributory cause” of death due to the “combined toxic effects of cocaine, methamphetamine, and ethanol.” The concert attendees ranged in age from 27 to the youngest victim, 9-year-old Ezra Blount.
